Tiger Cubs - Pack Meeting

Tonight we went to a Cub Scout Meeting to see what it was all about. Josh wanted to join. It was actually really interesting and looked like a lot of fun. I was in Girl Scouts when I was in elementary and junior high and I had a blast.
So the "Den Leader" will contact us so we can set up a Den meeting and sign up. Sounds really cool. We'll see how it goes.

Josh's First day of 1st Grade

Well we walked Josh to school and to his class. We met his teacher, Mrs. Boyle. She seemed a little harsh at first but I think she was just in a hurry because she was on bus duty.
So we got in line near the playground to wait for the teachers and announcements and Josh was so excited. He looked so cute with his backpack and new cool Airwalk Tennis Shoes.
So we stood there for the announcements and the teachers came to get the kids to walk them to the classroom. We walked to the classroom and Mrs. Boyle told us, let your kids find their seat, take your picture and then you can go.
So Josh was looking for his name and couldn't find it so I asked "Are they in alphabetical order" and proceeded to help find and Mrs. Boyle told me not to help. So Josh found his seat, and I took a pic and then we told him to go to the FUN CLUB right after school was over.
Then we walked home. I was still a little nervous while walking home.

Poncho Update

Poncho is starting to get big and weighs 2 lbs already. He still sleeps a lot though. We got him a new collar with cute little paws on it. He's not too crazy about it and tries to scratch it off all the time, but he'll get used to it.

Josh's First Day of School

Josh starts school tomorrow. He will be in First Grade in, we think, Miss Boyles class. Under the teacher name, it doesn't have a Ms. or Mr. but Deaja said that most teachers that teach early grades are women. So that's good.
I'm nervous about it too. Josh is very excited about starting school and being in the first grade. He likes school and can't wait to meet new friends.
We went shopping on Saturday and bought his school suppplies, and a few new outfits for him to wear.
So we'll see what happens tomorrow. Wish usluck!!
